IT Application Consultant – SAP Sales & CRM

Experienced SAP SD professional? Step into a role combining technical expertise with solution design & partner governance! On behalf of our client, a leading international industrial manufacturer, we are looking for an IT Application Consultant to join their Global Competence Center for Sales & Logistics.

In this role, you won’t just be handling isolated system customizations—you will be the vital link between global sales business processes and the technology landscape, driving sustainable solutions across SAP SD, integrated add-ons, and MS Dynamics CRM.

Your Contribution

• Solution Design & Customizing: Take ownership of process-driven requirements, perform root-cause analysis, and handle hands-on SAP SD configuration while designing technical specifications for ABAP developments.

• Landscape Governance: Oversee and support the governance of CRM solutions (MS Dynamics), managing demands, analyzing requirements, and evaluating implementation options.

• Supplier & Service Management: Monitor and coordinate external IT service suppliers (AMS), ensuring high-quality support, budget compliance, and structured ticket prioritization before handovers.

• Change & Project Management: Support the Change Approval Board process following ITIL standards and actively contribute to international implementation and upgrade projects.

• Key User Empowerment: Act as the trusted first point of contact for external IT partners and closely support internal key users during the rollout of approved process changes.

What You Bring

• Background: University degree in IT, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.

• SAP Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on IT consulting experience in SAP SD, with a strong focus on Sales processes (including pre-sales).

• Technical Savvy: Proven experience in SAP SD customizing, ticket handling, and translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications.

• Methodologies & Tools: Familiarity with project management methods and a solid understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German is a strong advantage.
