GBS Global Process Owner (GPO) Invoice-to-Cash (I2C)

A leading global organisation is looking for a Global Process Owner – Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) to lead the transformation of its global revenue lifecycle. This high-impact role will drive process optimisation, working capital efficiency and standardisation across international markets, while leveraging digital and AI-driven solutions to shape the future of financial operations.

What you'll do

As Global Process Owner – Invoice-to-Cash, you will define the global strategy for I2C processes, including cash application, collections and credit management, with a strong focus on reducing DSO and optimising working capital.

You will lead the harmonisation and standardisation of I2C processes globally, working across Finance, Sales and Supply Chain to drive end-to-end transformation and eliminate regional silos. You will also champion upstream process improvements, ensuring high-quality data and seamless integration across the revenue lifecycle.

A key part of the role will be driving digital transformation, including ERP optimisation, AI-driven automation and advanced analytics, while acting as a global design authority for I2C technology solutions.

You will mobilise stakeholders across geographies, support the migration of activities to Global Business Services, and establish strong governance frameworks based on real-time analytics, benchmarking and performance monitoring. As the organisation evolves, the role will progressively expand into broader leadership responsibilities, including oversight of large international teams.

What you bring

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Invoice-to-Cash, Credit Management or Global Business Services within complex multinational environments, combined with a strong track record in global process transformation, standardisation and technology implementation.

You will have a deep understanding of working capital and the ability to translate complex data and process insights into measurable business improvements. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to drive change and build consensus across a complex, matrixed organisation and diverse international teams.

A strategic mindset, strong communication skills and experience leveraging digital technologies—including AI-driven automation and analytics—will be key to success. The ability to develop talent and evolve towards broader people leadership will also be important.

Key Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Invoice-to-Cash, Credit Management or Global Business Services.
• Proven experience leading global process standardisation, transformation and automation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of working capital, DSO, collections and credit management.
• Experience with large-scale system implementations and digital transformation.
• Strong ability to influence and mobilise stakeholders across functions, cultures and geographies.
• Experience working in matrixed, multinational organisations.
• Strategic understanding of AI, automation, ERP and advanced analytics within financial operations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership and talent development capabilities, with potential to lead large international teams.
• Experience establishing global governance, performance management and compliance frameworks.
