Full stack developer

An innovative start-ups in travel technology is looking for a full stack developer. They are based in the heart of Zurich, Switzerland and Lisbon, Portugal. They are looking for inspired and motivated professionals to be part of their team in Lisbon. Functions:

Help to advance their industry-leading trip builder platform by adding more exciting functionalities, improving the scalability and modularity of the platform, and building up game changing capabilities for supporting travel business needs

Requirements:

• Experience in Scala or other functional programming languages (Haskell, Scheme, Lisp, Ocaml, F#); or deep Java/.NET expertise and a strong desire to learn Scala.
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Good understanding of all relevant web technologies (JSON, REST, AJAX, HTTP)
• Knowledge of JavaScript, styling and markup languages
• Worked with popular client-side frameworks such as Ember.js, AngularJS or React
• Passion for clean, high quality, maintainable and performant code
• Experience with Akka and NoSQL databases is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English
