Cloud Platform Engineer - DevX

Our client is a Silicon Valley company specialising in Vertical AI SaaS solutions, collaborating with top firms worldwide in industries such as accounting, consulting, investment banking, legal, private capital, and real assets.

They’re looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer focused on Developer Experience to optimise the software development lifecycle. In this role, you’ll work on implementing and improving Azure DevOps pipelines and integrating key CI/CD tools. Your main focus will be to automate build, test, and deployment processes to enable efficient, secure, and fast software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Development in Azure DevOps: Build, manage, and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
• Workflow Automation: Automate build, test, and deployment processes for cloud-based applications.
• Infrastructure as Code: Develop and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Code Quality and Security Integration: Implement and integrate tools such as SonarQube and JFrog Xray to enhance code quality and security.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to improve system reliability and overall developer experience.
• Documentation and Training: Create clear documentation and onboarding materials to support teams in adopting Azure DevOps practices and CI/CD tool integrations.

What You Bring:

• DevOps and Cloud Experience: 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering, with a focus on developer experience and CI/CD.
• Cloud Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, ideally Microsoft Azure.
• Scripting and Development Skills: Proficiency in languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar.
• Infrastructure Automation: Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• CI/CD Best Practices: Knowledge of build automation, code quality analysis, artifact management, and security within CI/CD environments.
