Data Analyst / BI Specialist
Our client is a fast-growing investment firm that is strengthening its internal analytics capabilities to support strategic decision-making across finance, operations, commercial, and investment. They are looking for a Data Analyst / BI Specialist with strong technical foundations and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights.
In this role, you will be a key contributor to the company’s data strategy—designing models, building advanced dashboards, and enabling automated reporting that directly supports investors, management, and operational teams. This is a high-impact position at the core of the firm’s digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Modeling & Analytics: Build, optimize, and maintain robust data models for financial, commercial, and operational analysis.
- Dashboard Development: Create intelligent, high-quality Power BI dashboards for stakeholders including investors, the executive team, and operational units.
- Risk Scoring & Market Data: Support real-estate risk scoring using external datasets (INE, Pordata, Idealista).
- Predictive & Automated Reporting: Develop automated pipelines, predictive analyses, and recurring reports.
- Data Governance: Ensure data quality, consistency, and structure across all sources and processes.
- Internal Enablement: Train internal teams on dashboard usage, analytical tools, and data best practices.
What You Bring
- Degree in Management, Economics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong experience with Power BI (advanced preferred).
- Solid background in data analysis, modeling, and ETL (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
- Experience with Azure ML, database integration, and report automation.
- Knowledge of SQL, predictive analytics, and data pipelines.
- Ability to structure KPIs, financial dashboards, and commercial reporting.
- Familiarity with Power Automate and workflow automation.
- Previous involvement in digitalization or automation projects is highly valued.
- Experience with financial environments or market datasets (INE, Pordata, Idealista) is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Critical thinking and strong analytical rigor.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex analyses for non-technical teams.
- Clarity in documentation and communication.
Why This Role?
This is a strategic hire within a growing analytics structure, influencing multiple business areas and contributing directly to the development of real-estate risk models and automated reporting systems.
The company offers a competitive package for this level of seniority—more attractive than typical market ranges and above comparable roles in similar firms.
- Seniority: Junior to mid-level profiles considered; strong technical ability valued over years of experience.
- Opportunity to shape data architecture and analytical processes from within a dynamic, tech-forward investment environment.
