The selected candidate will lead a WebMethods team that is an extension of the team that is already in Paris, where there are project managers and business analysts responsible for translating business requirements into functional specifications that are subsequently transmitted to the team that is in Lisbon, which will subsequently analyze, define and develop the technical solution, create technical documentation and monitor production (whenever necessary). This person must have prior experience with WebMethods and team leadership – at least 3 years leading teams and 5 in WebMethods. The candidate will have to be fluent in English and Portuguese and preferably have a good level of French (if they do not have a good level of French, they will have to be motivated to take French classes later provided by the client).

Job description

• Team/Tech Leader of WebMethods team;
• Support and guarantee the monitoring and continuous improvement of the methodology of the development team based in Lisbon – 2 developers;
• Dispatch of backlog activities to the development team;
• Guarantee that all the issues are solved;
• Monitoring of activities - ensuring defined dates and deadlines and control the quality of deliverables;
• Definition of technical solutions;
• Ensuring that all the situations are solved from end-to-end.

Who you are

• Degree with emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent experience;
• Minimum B1 level of French (nice to have) and English (mandatory);
• Understanding of functional specifications and inter-application specifications;
• Consolidated Experience in WebMethods - Development with WebMethods 10.5, WebMethods Universal Messaging, WebMethods Deployer ;
• Good knowledge in SQL Oracle, Shell Unix, Webservices SOAP / REST;
• Experience with GitLab and DevOps environment;
• Previous experience with WSO2 is a plus;
• Excellent and clear communication skills;
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members;
• Team spirit and problem solving mindset;
• Organized, motivated and willing to learn.
