Security Expert

A big multinational company in the automotive industry is looking to add a Security Expert to their team in Portugal to help them with their goal of being the most reliable partner for automotive manufactures. They are technology leaders when it comes to things like, starter motors, generators, start/stop systems or mild hybridization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vulnerability and penetration tests (identify and defend against threats)

• Configure security systems and recommend improvements

• Help in the creation and testing of disaster recovery plans

• Support projects with security guidance ("Security by Design")

• Ensure IT security in coordination with their SOC (external)

• Train staff to understand and put to good use the security protocols

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technologies

• 3+ years’ of experience with computer, network infrastructure and security, systems

• Strong analytical, critical thinking as well as problem-solving skills

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

• Experience in the automotive sector is a plus
