What You Will Do:
- Design & Strategy Development: Define comprehensive testing strategies for cloud-based applications deployed on the Azure Cloud Platform, covering functional testing, integration testing, performance testing, and security testing.
- Legacy System Compatibility: Design testing strategies tailored for large legacy systems, ensuring compatibility and smooth operation within Windows environments.
- Framework Architecture: Architect scalable, maintainable, and efficient testing frameworks optimized for Azure Cloud Platform, utilizing industry best practices and innovative test automation approaches.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Lead testing initiatives from inception to completion, working closely with cross-functional teams (including developers, QA engineers, and product managers) to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Technical Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, QA engineers, and team members on testing best practices, automation techniques, and the latest Azure Cloud Platform technologies.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies, fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous learning within the organization.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Azure Cloud technologies, integrating relevant developments into the testing strategies and frameworks you design.
What You Will Need:
- Extensive Experience: Proven experience in a senior-level testing role, with a focus on testing cloud-based applications on the Azure Cloud Platform.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with .NET technologies and deep knowledge of enterprise-scale system testing, particularly in the context of Azure Cloud services.
- Azure Cloud Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Azure Cloud Platform services, including but not limited to Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.
- Automation & Framework Design: Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing scalable testing frameworks, as well as building automation solutions for complex cloud-based systems.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire teams, as well as influence testing practices across the organization.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically in identifying issues and solutions.
- Certifications: Microsoft Azure certification(s) such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert is a plus.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
