Web Developer

This company is based in London, owns several world-class brands in the financial space, with services in the areas of foreign exchange and treasury, multi-currency management and remittances. Their mission is to provide their clients with the specialist knowledge and experience needed to take advantage of today’s fast-moving global markets. They are now looking for a Web Developer to join their teams in Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver rich web applications

• Maintain existing applications built using C#, .NET core, MVC, ASP.NET

• Perform code reviews and automate/develop unit/end-to-end testing of software systems within their domain, focused on software quality and maintainability

• Collaborate with an internal team of front-end developers, backend developers, and quality assurance team to implement requirements

• Assist with the UX design of web applications

• Ensure code is adhering to necessary security standards

• Support to DevOps test planning and execution

• Follow the Agile Scrum framework

Requirements

• 5+ years of ASP.NET MVC and/or Core web development

• Strong experience in C#, ASP.NET MVC and/or .NET Core, HTML, JavaScript

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular are a plus

• Experience working in agile environments and related project management tools such as Jira

• Familiarity with DDD, CQRS and clean architecture design patterns are a plus

• Proficient in using built-in browser tools like Chrome Developer Tools

• Working experience with Source Control Management tools such as Subversion and/or GIT

• Experience in the financial industry is a plus

• English proficiency
