QA analyst

A leading North American company in the field of biotechnological research wants to centralize its Digital Hub here in Lisbon to support different brands through e-commerce and, is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various testing types and techniques such as exploratory, functional, black box, browser compatibility, usability, end-to-end, user acceptance and regression including but not limited to integration and synthetic testing

• Develop, document, and maintain manual and automated test scripts and test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical requirements, user stories and business use cases

• Work with database queries, parse data or any other source to generated test data

• Troubleshoot issues and read log files

• Work with the Digital development team to review test gaps and adjust the correct test levels among frontend, backend, analytics

• Gain a deep understanding of our products and the customer experience to think and speak from the customer viewpoint

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and software development life cycle process, Agile testing methodology, test scripting, and at least 2 years of cumulative manual testing experience

• Experience writing test scripts preferable in Postman, SoapUI and Selenium

• Familiarity with functional test automation

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in analyzing business requirements and use cases to create and execute test plans

• 1 year experience with web-based applications and e-commerce site is prefered

• Experience with Shopify Plus, Magento, BigCommerce or other ecommerce solutions is a plus
