SOC Security Analyst

A global Digital Transformation Leader and a Cloud Managed Service Provider is seeking a SOC Security Analyst. This company meets the needs of approx. 10.000 companies in the corporate and public sector worldwide in the field of complex IT Infrastructures.

You will be responsible for first line support of their services for tehir Managed Security customers. The SOC Analysts operate as part of a 24x7x365 shift rota, continuously monitoring services utilising several toolsets, to conduct initial triage of alerts to identify potential, false positives, policy violations, intrusion attempts, security threats and potential compromises.

Requirements

• Experience in security practices (SOC experience preferred)

• Familiar with DevOps

• Scripting skills (knowledge of Python, PowerShell and KQL)

• Knowledge of the following technologies is required: Microsoft Azure, Azure Sentinel

• English proficiency

• Detect and respond to company-wide security incidents;

• Analyze and correlate security-related information and events;

• Research and recommend solutions and workarounds to security incidents;

• Research and evaluate emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them;

• Conduct vulnerability scans, analyze reports and validate potential findings;

• Ensure continuous improvement of the existing security monitoring.
