Communications Specialist
Our client, a international car rental company, is looking for a Junior Communication Specialist.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead PR and external communications, including press releases, media relations, interviews, and crisis communication.

Plan, organize, and coordinate sponsorships, events, and congresses, managing budgets, materials, and hospitality.

Oversee media and advertising plans, including creative supervision, copywriting, and optimization of marketing funds.

Manage internal communications, including internal announcements and organization of internal meetings and town halls.

Coordinate eCommerce and marketing content localization for Portugal, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery across all digital channels.

Act as the country marketing lead, overseeing local marketing initiatives, rental service promotion, and digital platforms.

Serve as the main point of contact for all local marketing requests, ensuring alignment with Iberia and global marketing teams.

Ensure consistent application of brand and marketing guidelines in collaboration with external agencies.
Requirements
The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field and is based in Lisbon. Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory, while Spanish is considered a strong advantage. The role requires advanced knowledge of communication, digital marketing, and web environments, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite and a solid understanding of web analytics tools. Previous experience in PR, communication, event management, digital campaigns, and eCommerce is essential, with a background in sales and marketing considered a plus. The successful candidate is dynamic, creative, highly organized, analytical, customer-oriented, and comfortable working in a global, fast-paced business environment as a collaborative team player.
