CRM & Referral Specialist
Our client is a leading travel-tech company that makes road trips easy and accessible. Operating across Europe and beyond, they offer flexible campervan rentals and subscriptions, helping people explore the world freely and comfortably.
They’re looking for a CRM & Referral Specialist to design and execute strategies that drive customer conversion, retention, loyalty, and revenue. The role focuses on performance-driven communications through email and referral programs across channels like SMS, WhatsApp, and push notifications—ranging from short automated flows to long-term newsletters. A mix of technical, hands-on expertise and strategic thinking is key.
Key Responsibilities:
- CRM Collaboration: Work with Product Marketing to define CRM campaign needs aligned with business goals.
- Email Marketing: Create content and target audiences for broadcast and segmented email campaigns.
- Campaign Execution: Ensure all emails are accurate, tested, and delivered on schedule.
- Deliverability Monitoring: Track email deliverability and promptly address any issues.
- Testing & Optimisation: Apply a test-and-learn approach to improve campaign performance and customer insights.
- Performance Reporting: Measure results, report findings, and apply learnings to future campaigns.
- Customer Journeys: Design new customer journeys and optimise existing ones to improve conversion, retention, and loyalty.
- Referral Strategy: Develop and enhance referral programs that align with business objectives and attract quality leads.
- Referral Analysis: Monitor and analyse referral performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements to boost engagement, conversion, and revenue.
What You Bring:
- Experience: Solid experience in CRM marketing, ideally with additional experience in referral programs.
- Industry Background: Experience in B2C e-commerce or businesses with repeat purchases and/or seasonal demand, managing large user databases, and creating impactful automation journeys that integrate content, design, and strategy.
- CRM Platforms: Skilled in using CRM marketing tools to build and deploy campaigns.
- Email Development: Experience in creating and editing email templates using drag-and-drop builders, HTML, dynamic content, and personalisation.
- Automation Tools: Skilled in creating segments and campaigns using marketing automation platforms (such as Ortto, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, etc.)
- Data Analysis: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, generate insights, and optimise CRM and referral performance.
- Data Compliance: Knowledge of data privacy principles and regulations related to data use in marketing.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
