Junior Lawyer

Our Client, a leading Law Firm in Portugal, with an international dimension on the market, is currently recruiting a Junior Lawyer to strengthen its Corporate and M&A team, for its Lisbon office. The Junior Lawyer will work on challenging, innovative and fast-paced projects, which will allow her/him to develop hers/his technical knowledge and creativity.

About the Junior Lawyer role (located in Lisbon):

• Support Clients with their internal corporate governance systems in compliance with applicable regulations, as well as in the correct implementation of corporate governance models;

• Daily housekeeping of Clients’ corporate matters, namely, as regard the respective corporate bodies;

• Interpreting and supporting the implementation of legal and regulatory rules applicable to the Clients' business activity;

• Assisting Clients in mergers, acquisitions, dissolutions and corporate restructuring operations, namely representing Clients in negotiation meetings, drafting all the necessary documentation underlying these operations and carrying out detailed due diligence processes;

For this position, we are looking for a professional with 2+ years of experience, in a similar role, after admission to the Portuguese Bar Association; Excellent academic background; Masters degree in Business Law or in Law & Management is a plus.

Fluency in English is required and understanding Spanish is a plus. Excellent communication and relationship building capabilities, innovation and good adaption to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment is valued.
