Area Sales Manager

Global Animal Health Company in expansion is searching for an Area Sales Manager in order to give support to the growth of its activities on the Northern Portugal markets.

About the Area Sales Manager position (Northern Portugal)

The Area Sales Manager will support the company’s business growth on the Portuguese Market and will be responsible for the sales and promotion of its Veterinary Nutraceutical products portfolio. He/she will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

Main functions:

• Participate in the commercial development of the company in the designated geographic area by acquiring new customers and developing the existing ones
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers with a proven knowledge of Nutraceutical products assuring service meet quality standards beyond costumer requirements

Requirements:

For this position based in the North of Portugal, we require a profile with a Life Science degree and 3 to 5 years of professional experience with Animal Health/Nutraceutical products. Previous experience managing client accounts and delivering them the highest service level.

This person will have a proven track record of success in achieving results and experience in commercial negotiations.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Portuguese. Spanish is a strong plus
