Business Development Manager

International EPC company (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) is looking for its Business Development Manager PV to expand its activities in the Portuguese market.

About the Business Development Manager PV:

The Business development Manager will be responsible for strengthening commercial relationship with existing customers and developing new opportunities for the company in Portugal. Reporting to the General Manager and working tightly with purchasing, design office, logistics, operations, legal and finance departments, its main responsibilities will be to:

• Carry out prospecting and commercial negotiations (i.e. developers, industrialists, local authorities) and manage the pipeline through a customer database.
• Participate in public and private tenders for the development of PV Plants (UPPs, UPACs and Utility-Scale).
• Write the offers, supervise the costs, and participate in contractual discussions with prospects and clients.
• Define and up-to-date contract templates in alignment with internal legal departments and referring lawyers.
• Analyze the photovoltaic energy market and laws.
• Define and implement new products.
• Participate in the development of the marketing plan and supervise the marketing actions.
• Engage in trade fairs and press relations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or related area.
• Commercial experience with excellent communication skills and ability to manage relations with clients and stakeholders.
• Legal, technical and economical knowledge of different PV installations.
• Good knowledge of the Portuguese players in the Renewable energy market.
• Good knowledge of MS Office pack.
• Excellent organization and prioritization of tasks.
