Project Development Manager Spain

Our Client, an International Renewable Energy Developer, is currently seeking a Project Development Manager Spain to growth the company’s portfolio of renewable projects in Spain based in short term Lisbon, Portugal and medium term in Madrid.

About the Project Development Manager Spain role:

Reporting to the Head of Development Iberia, the Project Development Manager Spain will lead new potential wind, solar and energy storage projects, and develop them successfully from planning and permitting towards construction, along with managing existing projects.

The Project Development Manager Spain will be responsible for:

• Managing current projects in pipeline and identifying new project opportunities, securing relevant land agreements;
• Establishing the development of partnerships;
• Managing the project development tasks including interconnection and permitting process;
• Analysing the project financing model to ensure the viability of the projects
• Supporting the project financing negotiations,
• Managing the financial optimization of the project business case;
• Responding to tender processes,
• Contributing to the business strategy in the Iberian market and supporting the Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities;

For this position, we require an Engineering or Business administration degree with specialization in renewable energy, environment, or project management with 3-5 years of experience developing large scale renewable energy projects in Spanish market. Fluency in English and Spanish (native or professional) is required.

Conditions

• Permanent Contract
• Based in Lisbon or Madrid. Short term Lisbon preferable, but medium term Madrid required.
• Starting date: as soon as possible
