HSE Supervisor (Alentejo)

International Renewable Energies EPC services company based in the Lisbon region is currently searching for HSE Supervisors to support current and future projects of the company on the Portuguese market (north east Alentejo).

Reporting to the HSE Manager, the HSE Supervisors will be supervising the HSE management’s performance on site, assisting the HSE Manager.

Main activities:

- Implement all requirements prescribed in the HSE management plan

- Coordinate with Onshore HSE Manager about subcontractor’s documentation conformity

- Organize and moderate all initial common inspections

- Participate in risk analyses relative to coactivity and define preventive actions

- Participate in near-incident and work accident risk analyses

- Identify all HSE anomalies identified on site as well as good practices

- Ensure HSE conformity of all operations executed on site

- Stop all operations immediately when in a dangerous situation or an imminent dangerous situation

- Ensure the HSE operating method before and during the pv plant commissioning phases

- Participate in the 5 cardinal rules promotion

- Transmit all HSE communication documentation, participate in meetings, update site poster

- Write all daily, weekly and monthly reports (to the Onshore HSE Manager and PM team)

- Relay all information and blocking points to the HSE coordinator

- Reach the zero accident, limit all risks of accidents on site

- Evaluate all entities present on site by regularly tracking behavioural tendencies, and by implementing, when necessary, immediate corrective actions

For this position, we require a HSE Technician level IV or higher with on site supervision and auditing experience. Experience writing all necessary documentation (recordings, instruction manuals, procedures…), and good communication skills.

Required knowledge in Technical PV basis, site/maintenance technical basis, HSE, as well as fluency in English and Portuguese.
