Our client, an International Energy leading company, is currently searching for a Project Manager Solar PV to develop and support Utility Scale projects of the company on the Portuguese market.
About the Project Manager Solar PV role:
The Project Manager Solar PV’s responsibility will be to lead the interface with the EPC contractor as well as other stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of quality and that the project is timely executed.
The Solar PV PM will be responsible for:
- Developing and coordinating RFPs for EPC Contractors selection, as well as evaluate and negotiate the EPC contracts;
- Defining and optimizing the construction plan and schedules in cooperation with partners and the key-stakeholders;
- Defining, implementing and overseeing projects from end to end, being responsible for the project management engineering, HSE, QA/QC, and commissioning processes and standards;
- Coordinating and supervising the correct application of all project management procedures ensuring on-time delivery;
- Preparing, overseeing and reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis the projects progress report, red flagging all potential risks and delays;
- Controlling the project to guarantee the costs, develop cash flow updates and forecasting;
- Following-up during all construction projects steps on project planning, budgeting, licensing, design and construction, contract evaluation, technical contract administration, quality, etc.
For this position, we require an Engineer with 5 years+ of experience in a similar role within the Solar PV Industry focused on Utility scale Solar plant projects and a provable success track record. A previous experience as a Project Manager is mandatory.
Fluency in Portuguese and English, strong initiative and autonomy and team management skills are mandatory.
