Manufactoring Engineer

An Industrial Multinational Group is currently searching for a Manufacturing Engineer for its industrial plant based in the Greater Lisbon area.

About the role

Reporting to the Group’s Engineering Director, the Manufacturing Engineer will have an active participation on new product development, having as main responsibilities:

• Create, maintain and improve pilot “mid-volume” manufacturing assembly line, specifying and/or refining BOMs, workflow processes, manufacturing plan and detailed work instructions;
• Design, document, procure, qualify, implement, and improve fixtures, tools and equipment/machinery;
• Analyze instrument manufacturing line from a risk perspective (PFMEA) to incorporate and validate critical tests used in manufacturing;
• Validation and qualification of manufacturing equipment and processes leveraging standard qualification approaches (IQ/OQ/DQ/PQ);
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects;
• Maintain compliance with medical device quality system;
• Provides technical support to the production;

For this position, we require an Engineering background with a 7+ years experience as manufacturing engineer or similar experience supporting process development and products with mechanical/electromechanical content.

Fluency in English is mandatory and in Portuguese is considered a plus. Experience in automated assembly/production lines and CAD knowledge are valuable.
