HVAC Engineer (Real Estate)

International Real Estate Developer Company is currently searching for its Installations Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) to support the growth of its activities on the Portuguese market.

About the Installations Engineer (Real Estate) role

Reporting to the Country Manager and working closely with the Construction Project Manager, the Installations Engineer main functions will be to:

• Carry out weekly meetings with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) contractor to review the following matters and schedule forthcoming activities:

• Contractors drawing and procurement programme/progress

• Personal Tracker Safety schedules and progress

• Risk assessment issues, testing and commissioning programme and progress.

• RFI schedules and progress

• Lead the Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing detail design activities with the consultant and Subcontractor.

• Ensure delivery of all the MEP packages on time to suit other trades

• Manage contractual aspect of the Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing Subcontract and ensure delivery of the MEP on budget

• Highlight progress of MEP activities using the visual progress reports

• Including photos showing progress in each room.

• Including comparison vs the last time a report was issued.

Qualifications

• For this position, we require an Engineer with a 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within a Developer focused on Residential and Offices, and a provable success track record.

• Fluency in Portuguese and English, strong analytic and strategic outlook of the industry as well as proven communication skills are mandatory.
